Snow white steps brought the female farther and farther into the Plains. The air was dry, no water mixing in with the oxygen needed to breath. Each deep breath in was like a baseball bat to the lungs. Each step was hard to take, yet the female did. Each breath was hard to take, yet the white fae did. What was driving her on?
Ahead, an oasis of some sort was lying peacefully in the Plains. Water, shade, and sleep were the only thought on her mind as she pushed herself towards the needed. With a parched throat, Taci pushed onward, her destination within reach. With water in her stomach, she knew that she'd be feeling better. She wouldn't be dehydrated, and she wouldn't be out of her mind.
Water! She could feel the coolness of the water spill over her white paws as she ran splashing into the little lake. She sunk her muzzle into the water, lapping up was much as she could get. Once she had her fill, she lifted her head up, water dripping off her muzzle back into the deliciously cool water. She sighed, feeling much better. Now all she had to do was wait for someone to happen along her. With a grin, she raised her muzzle to the sky, singing out her song. Though her song was eerie, it held the sense of peace and happiness, even though she was alone.

Xerxes's paws bounced on the ground as he made his way along the plains. Tall grass blades tickled his ankles and his legs as he easily loped, triangular shaped harks were pricked up right . His amber eyes were locked a head of him, scanning around. Bushy tail was hanging down between his back legs, swaying gently with the motio of the lope. His lower jaw dropped, salmon pink tongue lolling out and resting over his bottom two canines.
The sun was warm, and it peered out from behind a few clouds, rays of warmth coming down on his back. He blinked. Today there was something different about the whole area. A blanket of light snow had fallen, hugging the tree branches and the large patches of grass. As he trotted, his paws kicked up small white dust clouds of snow. Some of it was clinging to his fur. His nose twitched, and he picked up the scent of a female.
Curious, he snuffled along, and found her scent. He tracked it and followed it to a white female. He'd first heard her howl and wanted to see why she was howling. He padded toward her and planted his rump down on the grass, forelegs coming around to the front of his chest, keeping his upper body erect. Ears twitched toward her as he gave her a coy smirk, and began speaking.
"Why hello there gorgeous. Why are you out here all by your lonesome?" he inquired and waited for her to respond.

Taci had been there only a few moments when she could smell another wolf coming her way. She wasn't sure if it was male or female, but the scent the lovely shallow breeze brought told her enough. She was no longer alone out by the oasis.
As she waited and watched, she could see the wolf in the distance. The wolf looked large, so Taci assumed it was a male. And by the stance, the male must be an Alpha of some lands. She turned her back towards the male as he approached, retreating from the water so they could talk.
Water dripped from her fluffy coat as she waited for the male. As he grew closer, she took a longer look at him. His coat was a mixture of ash, black, and white, and it looked handsome on him. Running down his nose was a black stripe, and it made him look bolder, wiser.
"Why hello there gorgeous. Why are you out here all by your lonesome?" She smiled shyly back at the male. His smile wasn't genuine, it looked more like he was toying with; calling her beautiful. Her white banner swung gently behind her as she sat down as well, following the male's lead. But she lowered her torso to the ground, dust settling around her coat.
"Well hello there handsome. I'm not sure what I'm doing here. Something told me to head this way and wait. How about you?"

Xerxes smiled at the white dove and felt an itch forming on his neck. He raised his back leg and leaned into it, as he began kicking at the spot. The fur around his neck, the hackles, began jingling from the kicking. Once he stopped, he lowered his leg and regarded her. She was a lovely looking female. Made up of white she would blend in easily with any kind of snow fall.
He listened to her speaking and thought before responding.
"Nothing really, just out wandering around. I'm Xerxes, ruler of the Innocence Pack. What is your name?" he asked her softly, keeping his amber orbs on hers.
While Xerxes normally raped females, it only depended on the situation really. If they 'deserved' it really. But lately, he's been turning over a new leaf and more than anything, Xerxes is a respectful wolf, with dark tendencies. It was not best to tick him off for anything.
Xerxes raised his eyes to the sky, watching a few birds taken flight, before turning his eyes back onto the white fae.
"Are you looking for a pack?" he inquired curiously, cocking his head to the side curiously. His tail thumped against the ground, sweeping over the grass and wheat as he watched her. The grass on the plains swayed softly in the breeze as he waited for her to speak.

"Nothing really, just out wandering around. I'm Xerxes, ruler of the Innocence Pack. What is your name?" Taci was sitting there, her white head on her paws. She watched as Xerxes attacked what she presumed to be an itch with his hind foot. She waited until he was finished before she respond.
"My name? I'm Taci, loner of the lands," she commented back. Since he was the leader of a pack, was he looking for more members? She hoped so. From their little conversation, she was enjoying the brutes company.
Xerxes eyes went to the sky, and so did Taci's own pool blue eyes. She watched as birds flew overhead, calling out to each other. Their song was calming and peaceful, even though it would take them a while to leave the lonely, dry plains behind once they left the oasis.
"Are you looking for a pack?" His words caught her off guard. She brought her orbs back down to earth, turning her attention to Xerxes. "As a matter of fact Xerxes, I am," she said, nodding her fluffy white skull. She was looking for a lot of things, but a home was her number on priority.

Xerxes smiled and pulled his rump off the ground. He spread his legs, giving his body a rigorous shake. His ears flapped against his head. He regarded Taci. She was looking for a home which was great. He'd offer her to live with him if she wanted.
"Wonderful. I meanyou'd be welcomed to join my pack that is if you'd like to," he added quickly, hoping he wasn't coming across as pushy or anything.
Patience for him was like cocaine. It was bad for you, but he had to have it anyway. He was really impatient at times. But once he calmed down, he was much more rational. Sometimes he made choices when he was angry, which of course, ended up being BAD decisions at times...but he learned from them. Xerxes ears were turned toward her, and he patiently waited for her to move.
"Might I ask a bit about yourself?" he asked, as he remained standing, watching her curiously.
It would be good to get to know her better, specially since that was something he did with any new pack members. He liked to get to know them each seperately. A gentle breeze whipped over his back, ruffling a few patches of fur as he waited for her to speak.

Taci stayed on the ground as Xerxes stood up. Dust flew from his pelt as he gave his body a rigorous shake. She smiled as his ears flapped against his skull, making a dull thwack! against his skull. So far, Xerxes was a good wolf, and she was glad to be in his company.
"Wonderful. I mean, you'd be welcomed to join my pack that is if you'd like to." Taci smiled. It seemed to her that Xrexes was lonely in his pack. Either he was lonely for a female, or lonely for a friend, she couldn't tell just yet.
Finally, she stood up and stretched. She yawned, pink tongue lolling out over teeth as white as her coat. She gave her own body a rigorous shake as well, dust flying off in small clouds.
"Might I ask a bit about yourself?" Hmm, what would he want to know? "Well Xerxes, what would you like to know?" she questioned the male.
