WELCOME
Animalia is a Wolf-based roleplay community board where you can fight, hunt, and mate with other wolves of the lands. Live life as a loner, or fight for your right to dominate the pack. You must always be on your guard, because your pack position and your life can be challenged at any waking moment by lone wolves, other pack members, or an outside threat. Only with the blessings of Ebona or Ivori, Alphas of the Star Valley and Burning Peak Packs, may your lives be spared.

Welcome to the wolven kingdoms of Animalia...

Puppy Romping {Practice RPs}
[ ]Land of Immagion
Immagion is the land in the dreams of all the wolves in Animalia. Pups especially remember this place. Anything goes here so wolves find it a great place to brush up on their skills.

**This board, and the ones below it, are for illiterates and people who need to brush up on their writing skills. Anybody else may feel free to butt in and offer advice to the people in here.**

[ ]Play Pit
In the middle of the forest of Immagion, lies a very rocky ring. In the middle, wolves come to practice their fighting skills and determine who rules. Even among the pack of Dreamers, there is a hierarchy.

[ ]Puppy Love
Love knows no bounds. Not even in the dream worlds. A favorite among Immagion wolves is the Waterfall; a lovely, shaded spot in the forest where many cascading waterfalls flow into the river. Willows and ferns provide comfortable spots for couples to be together. (PG-13 and under)
**RPs here are not allowed to have pups.**

[ ]Plains of a Thousand Echos
**This is where you will go after your character has been accepted**
Endless stretches of vast, dry plains. No matter which way a packless wolf goes, they will never get to the Eternal Forest beyond. The only refuge from the searing heat and giant herds of buffalo, is a small oasis. There, wolves with no packs meet to start their journey. With blessings from Ebona, Alphas from the Forest Packs are able to come here to choose wolves that they think would make a good addition to their pack. Until then, you're stuck here...

[ ]Gladiator Clearing
Whenever there are disputes among two wolves for positions in the pack, they take it up with Ebona and Ivori. Before them, they fight in a winner takes all battle. Ebona and Ivori will judge the battle and deicide who is the winner.
**Battles are based on distances between the two positions, literacy and offensive/defensive turns.**

[ ]Mating Meadow (G - PG-13)
Every breeding season, Alphas and a couple subordinates come here for lovings. At the end of the breeding season, females come here on their own, to give birth in the same place their pups were conceived. Granted, this place is a very special place.

Moderators: Ebona, Ivori
00
[ ]Seduction Peak {mature rpers only}
Only the most experienced lovers come here. Seduction Peak is way past the forest, at the top of Mount Cloudtop (named since it's grazes the heavens). To get there, one must be careful of it's treacherous slopes and slippery rocks. Seduction Peak however might as well be Eden. There is plently of foilage to make even the most pickiest lovers comfortable. Since pups also have to be born here, most of pups from these litters grow up to be Alphas or higher ranking wolves due to the challenges the parents took.
**Secuction Peak is for mature rpers only because the mating is more in depth and not suitable for underage players. This board is always locked and only opened with a PM to Ebona**

The Fragmented Pack Territory
[ ]The Black Oak
The trees crowd in a dense little huddle here, the thickly leaved canopy smothering the ground below in a soft, sleepy glow. Low, gentle mists frequently emanate between the trees, curling around the ancient trunks, woven also with a network of small, babbling brooks. And in the centre of it all stands a huge oak, it's wood black and twisted. Rumour has it that it was lightning struck long ago, but it's story was long since lost to time. This marks the dead centre of the forest, and the surrounding clearing allows light to spill from a gap in the trees, making it a perfect gathering spot for the pack.

[ ]Spider Brook
Around the forest weave many a brook, twisting and turning into a complicated, web-like structure. At Spider Brook, each little tributary comes together to form the source of a larger river, which flows out of the territory. The water here is crisp and clear, cleaned by many rocks and tiny, bacteria-consuming creatures along the way. The river, having just started life, poses little danger to thirsty wolves or other animals, and is a favoured spot by deer and other prey.

[ ]Devil's Stone
In the Westernmost parts of the forest, where the trees are densest, standings a single, jagged stone. It protrudes at an odd angle from the ground, and is taller than two wolves stood on each other shoulders and balancing on their hind legs. Legends tells of how the devil himself threw the stone in a temper, and like a javelin, it landed here. About ten paces from the stone is where the land begins to rise, and some rocky areas have formed, in which years of erosion has punched holes deep enough to serve as dens for young or ill wolves, or wolves in need of quick shelter.

The Innocence Pack Territory
[ ]The Old Mill
It lies abandoned, nestled deeply into the woods. There are a few old coal carts that are resting on the tracks. Inside, the building is multileveled. While the foundation is stable, the enterior gives off the vibe of creepyness. The pack comes here as their main "headquarters" and where most of the pack discussions go on. Its also used as an area where lone females always come to possibly be accepted into the pack. This pack is led by XERXES

[ ]Revered River
This river cuts through the west a bit. Its large, narrow and filled with crystal blue water. Large pine trees surround this river. There is an old shipwreck on the island, in the center. An old bridge leads from one side of the shore to the next and passes over the island. This is great for those leisurely afternoon strolls to get around and go exploring.

00
[ ]Maris Waterfall
This waterfall flows over jagged rocks and collects into a large, sparkling pool. On either side, is lush green vegetation and perfect places to relax. There is a small cave behind the waterfall, which is used for some quiet time. Off to the left of it is a small fresh water pond, where catching fish is relatively easy. This is the next best thing to paradise.

00
The Crescent Lake Pack Territory
[ ]Hillside Cave
In the side of a hill, there is a small, dark opening, just wide enough for a wolf to enter, that leads to a large, sheltered cave. The inside has a few naturally formed skylights where the rock opens to the world, but otherwise is covered, and warmer than the outside due to the shelter from the winds whistling across the open land of the territory. Vilkas has personally drug in large branches from pines and other things he could find to make several soft places for wolves to lie down, especially covering the entire floor of a small room of the cave off of the main opening that he has claimed as his own den.

[ ]Lake Shore
On the eastern side of the territory is the large Crescent Lake for which the pack is named. The water is cool and clear, and the beach is pebbly and broad. The river opens to the lake here, and there are fish aplenty if a wolf is clever enough to catch one. This is where many of the wolves gather in the warm months, taking advantage of the tendency for prey to gather near the water. For the young wolves, this is a popular place to play and gather with the rest of the pack.

[ ]Open Hills
The open land of the Crescent Lake territory is littered with lots of outcroppings of boulders suitable as dens, often jutting out of the hillsides that are throughout the territory, with groves of trees interspersing the whole area. This is where herds of animals cross the pack’s territory from the mountains to the forests and vice versa depending on the season, and the area is criss-crossed with the tracks worn into the grass by the wolves.

The Tierras el Cantar Pack Territory
[ ]Mountain Peak;;
Cante Sireno's throne, he will hold audiences for any of his pack when they have a grievance or they need their Alpha's help. There is a steep trail leading all the way up to this spot, which is merely a small cave with a ledge right before the pointy tip of the mountain.

[ ]Forest Glade;;
A large pond off to the edge of Cantar. Here is the meeting place for all the pack members. They may come to get a drink and also meet new faces. The water is cool and clear, and the pond is deep. The pond is surrounded by a forest with many small meadows in it. It is said lovebirds use these woods. Cante often frequents a swim here, but it would not be smart to talk to him unless he approached you.

[ ]Underground Caverns;;
The dens off all the pack members are located here. The many different caves all have many jewels decorating their walls. The largest cave at the back of the mountain is composed completely of sapphires. This is the Alpha's den and no one is allowed inside, unless invited. In the middle of the caverns is a hot spring, where the members of Tierras el Cantar can gather and wash in the winter. This hot spring warms all the caves.

Animalia Outskirts
[ ]Scraggly Copse
On the edges of the Eternal Forest near the plains, lies several patches of dark, scraggly Copses. It is apparent by their looks that no decent pack would bother to patrol this barren patch of earth as their own. Who would want eat the scrawny prey around here, or drink from the small bracken-colored waters? No, these meager blights are left for the Loners...

[ ]No-man's Mine
Located near the foothills of the mountains, a small broken wooden sign with the half word "Dan-" is all that's left of this long abandoned diamond mine. Very few wolves dare to venture into its depth. Luminous rocks embedded in the walls light the ways with a ominous glow, and the dripping sounds that plink on the ground are the only sounds you'll hear.

Star Valley Pack Territory
[ ]Orion's Forest
Spread out like a multi-colored patchwork quilt, the heavenly forest of Orion greets the souls of wolves who have passed on with a free heart. Three redwoods stand out tall among the oaks, maples and willows, spaced miles apart in a diagonal line across the expanse. Respectively named, they are called Alnitak, Alnilam, and Mintaka. They are said to house the three hawk Watchkeepers that alert Ebona when a new soul arrives.

00
[ ]Gemini Waterfalls
If you can get there, at the edges of the forest rises two large jutting rocks named Pollux and Castor. Ledges and caves mar their surfaces, allowing the wolves of the Star Valley Pack a communal place to sleep. A thundering waterfall spills between them, and a smaller rock (named Rho) jutting out between Pollux and Castor splits the waterfall into two smaller waterfalls, creating a small island where the water flows around it into a larger pond. An underwater tunnel keeps the pond from overflowing, draining the water far under the surface out to the sea.

[ ]Scorpius Ridge
At the very edge of the everlasting Orion's Forest lies Scorpius Ridge, a rocky, sparsely-vegetated Southern Ridge of a giant, deep canyon. A large slab at the very edge of the ridge is said to be used when pack members who have broken Ebona's sacred laws are pushed off to live the rest of their eternal lives with Ivori. That is if their soul survives the fall. Even though Scorpius Ridge is a place of impending doom, beautiful wildflowers are scattered across the sandy soil.

Burning Peak Pack Territory
[ ]Everlasting Flames Canyon
All along the canyon walls lies entrances to tunnels deep beneath the earth. Those soul of dead beasts who spent their life with cold hearts, and are damned to a life of eternal pain are said to enter those tunnels. The spikes that line the floor of the tunnels are the first horrors that they must endure. Eventually they make their ways to the bottom of the supposedly bottomless canyon where the Burning Peaks Pack resides, the domain of Ivori.

[ ]River of Souls
Deep in the center of territory were it is the hottest, flows the River of Souls. Unfortunately it's the only source of water and it happens to be boiling hot. Forms of wolves that have drowned or not been buried by their pack mates litter the river, drowning out the roar of the waterfall with their howls of dispair.

[ ]Plains of Suffering
There is one place of glory and pleasure in the domain of Ivori, and that is where he lives. But in order to travel there for a weary bite to eat and drink, you have to cross the Plains of Suffering. Too bad you'll never reach it. No matter how far you travel across the scorching hot desert, the oasis is always the same distance away from you, taunting you... And then you have to walk all the way back.
